Clipping

Clipping is the distribution of short clips cut from existing long videos, posted by many independent clippers on their own pages and paid per view.

Also called
content clipping, podcast clipping, الكليبنج

What it means

Clipping starts from long content you already have, such as a podcast episode, a live stream or a long YouTube video. Independent clippers cut it into short clips. They post those clips on their own pages on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube.

In a campaign, you fund a budget and we write the brief. Clippers who join pick the moments, edit them and submit each clip for review. They are paid per 1,000 views on approved clips, not per clip posted.

This clipping is not the clipping mask in Photoshop or Illustrator, which is a design feature. It is also not press clipping, a service that sends clients copies of media coverage they care about. And it differs from UGC: clipping reuses content that exists, while UGC creators film new videos.

Example

Ali Alhamed had years of YouTube videos and podcast episodes. His clipping campaigns with us have passed 50 million qualified views. In the three campaigns our case study follows, clippers sent 27,397 submissions.
