UGC
UGC, or user-generated content, is video a creator films while using a product, in their own words, instead of video made by the brand's team.

What it means
UGC stands for user-generated content. In marketing it means videos that a creator films while using a product. The brand's own team does not make them, so they look like an ordinary user's post.
In a campaign, creators get a brief and guidelines, then film original videos about the product. Whop's documentation for Content Rewards describes a UGC campaign this way: creators produce original content featuring your brand, based on guidelines you provide. In our campaigns, creators are paid per 1,000 views on approved videos.
UGC is not clipping. Clipping cuts short clips from long content that exists, and UGC is filmed from scratch. UGC is also different from UGC ads, which are creator-style videos that a brand runs as paid ads from its own account. Our campaigns are organic posts on creators' pages, not ads.
Example
In our UGC campaigns for apps, a creator films the app in use and explains one use case in their own way. The videos go out on pages dedicated to that app.
