Clipper

A clipper is an independent editor who cuts long videos into short clips, posts them on their own pages and is paid per view.

Also called
clippers, كليبر

What it means

A clipper is independent, not an employee of the agency or the brand. Clippers choose which campaigns to join. They post from their own pages on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. We explain the brief, answer their questions and share editing examples in our community.

In a campaign, the clipper reads the brief and picks moments from the source material. They edit each moment into a short clip, post it and submit it for review. Payment is per 1,000 views on approved clips. A clip that fails review is not paid. One clipper can submit many clips, and not every submission is approved.

A clipper is not a UGC creator. The clipper edits content that someone else recorded, while a UGC creator films new videos. In Arabic, the word كليبر also names a part of a car's brakes, and most Google searches for it are about car parts.

Example

Our clippers gather in a community on Whop, which had 90,000+ members in October 2026. Members are not all active at once, so each campaign is posted by the clippers who choose to join it.
