Minimum views
Minimum views is the view threshold a post must reach before it becomes eligible for payment in a campaign.
- Also called
- view threshold, minimum payout, minimum view requirement
What it means
A minimum views rule sets a floor. A post is paid only after its views pass the threshold. Below it, the post earns nothing. The threshold applies to each post on its own.
The floor keeps review time for videos that found an audience. In Content Rewards, the brand sets it as a minimum payout: the least a video must earn before it reaches the review queue. At a given rate per 1,000 views, that amount equals a number of views.
A minimum is not a promise that a post will reach that number, and it is not a campaign target. Posts under the threshold can still add to total views. It also differs from an audience threshold, which checks where the views came from. In the Call of Duty campaign, a clip qualified only if at least 30% of its views came from GCC markets.
Example
A creator posts two videos: one passes the threshold and enters review. The other stays below it and is not paid, though its views can still show in total views.

Pay per view
Pay per view means clippers and creators are paid an agreed amount for every 1,000 views on their approved videos, not a flat fee per video.
Payout cap
A payout cap is the most a single post can earn in a campaign, however many views it gets, so one video cannot use up the budget.
Total views
Total views are the broader view count a campaign records on the platform: qualified views plus views on content that was not approved for payment.
