Total views
Total views are the broader view count a campaign records on the platform: qualified views plus views on content that was not approved for payment.
- Also called
- total tracked views, total recorded views
What it means
Total views are the wider of the two numbers in our reports. They include every qualified view. They can also include views on content that is not eligible for rewards, such as clips that were not approved. So total views are never lower than qualified views.
The platform that runs the campaign reports this count. Total views show how far the campaign's content travelled overall. Qualified views show the part that met the campaign rules. The platform tracks each clip for a set period after submission, so later views are in neither number.
Total views are not a verified audience. They are cumulative, so one person who watches three clips counts three times. They do not show unique reach or views by country. We do not report either of those, because we cannot measure them reliably. Never add total views and qualified views together.
Example
The Arabic Call of Duty campaign recorded 22.6 million qualified views and about 63 million total recorded views. The larger number includes content that did not qualify.

Qualified views
Qualified views are the views on clips that were approved under the campaign rules, including views a clip gains after it reaches its payout cap.
Minimum views
Minimum views is the view threshold a post must reach before it becomes eligible for payment in a campaign.
Payout cap
A payout cap is the most a single post can earn in a campaign, however many views it gets, so one video cannot use up the budget.
